Island Hotel Room 34

Its a nice sized room, the bed was comfortable, however, the tub not a clawfoot tub but instead an old tub mounted on a block of wood. Its very difficult to get in and out of. Also you cant even use it as a tub, you have to use it as a shower, and that made showering very difficult. I think at that point, I think most would prefer a walk in shower. One of the main reasons I booked that room was for the promise of a clawfoot tub. Also the split ac didn't work and that room gets pretty hot in July, when I stayed there. Also, if you come there, don't eat at that restaurant, I ordered escargot and they served me canned escargot. I ordered the island clam pasta dish and both the clams and the pasta were severely overcooked. I expected a lot more for the price. Needless to say, if I ever do come back to cedar key, I wont stay at that hotel again.

You said the room had tub and a shower, but there is a note saying DO NOT USE THE TUB. My wife was looking forward to a nice soak. No problem, but you should explain to you next guest.
