Wonderful Historic Hotel Stay Positive: The historic setting is amazing if you like that sort of thing, which I do. The room was small but comfortable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming Negative: The bathroom in the room is very small and a bit awkwardly laid out but not a big deal.

Cute little place. Not exactly what we were expecting. I was looking forward to a bath in the claw foot tub,but you aren’t allowed to bathe, only shower,or it leaks. No tv in the room, the floors are very uneven and you can’t control the air conditioning. It was very chilly in our room. The front porch is right outside the window and people are quite loud. I really wanted to love Cedar Key,but it is soooo boring. Just not the place for us! Quite charming and cute if you just want to unplug . Hopefully in a few years business will pick up and stores will be open past 3-4:00. On an up side,Steamers was a good restaurant!

Great place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. If you need anything extra the owners are onsite and are there to help. I had to ask a big favor of Bud and he took care of it like he had always know me. Very friendly but overwhelming professional. In the days of cooperate hotels on every corner go to Island Hotel and be treated like a guest/friend and not a number. The food was excellent. My wife and I will be back.

We love the Hotel and Food is great. But the bed in 34 is like a Rock and Claw tub isnt that easy to get in and out of
