Island Hotel Room 35

I had a very nice time staying in lovely old hotel. After reading all the history on the Island Hotel, it made me wonder why I hadn't stayed here before. When checking in, the host told me that I had booked Jimmy Buffett's old room. The Neptune's lounge was the best. I had made reservations at the bar both nights, and was treated like I was Jimmy Buffett himself. The balcony was another great spot to go. This was where all the guest would gather and look at all the sites of Cedar Key. I met a lot very friendly people there. I will definitely be coming back to the Island Hotel again.

We stayed only one night, but the hotel and staff exceeded expectations. It's a quaint older hotel, historical, so it comes with the creaks, cracks and pops an old building has, which adds to the atmosphere, but did not interfere with our rest. The balcony provided a great view of the town, harbor, and sunset along with a nice breeze. The bed was comfy and we easily fell asleep. The hotel has many places to sit and talk and to explore. The restaurant was exceptional, as was the bar. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will easily make the Island Hotel the place to stay on our next visit.

Had a great time! Only thing that bummed me out was no breakfast! I could have swore yall used to do breakfast. The coffee was superb though!

Dawn was amazing. I cannot say enough nice things about what an amazing experience we had thanks to her!! We’ll be back.
