Island Hotel Room 23

A lovely historic hotel Positive: Loved the creaky stairs, the porch for late afternoon drinks, excellent restaurant, cute bar and just the overall feel of an old we'll maintained hotel Negative: Bed not comfortable in room 23

Location and feel of the hotel is excellent but room let the stay down Positive: Loved the first floor veranda and the history of the hotel. Bar & restaurant food was excellent and the staff were always available to help Negative: The room. Best to ask your partner to pop down to the bar whenever you need to use the bathroom. Temperature control seemed to be determined outside of the room. Sound proofing doesn’t exist but a lot of the above is due to the historic nature of the hotel

Took me back to old days. Loved it

Beautiful old hotel with lots of charm and history. Room was tiny but clean and functional. Bed slept amazing. I would probably include hair dryers in each room but they are readily available at the front desk so that was nice. Restaurant was good with a diverse menu. Very pricey but I don’t mind paying for quality and it was. We loved the bar and its beautiful artwork. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Keep up the good work. Hope to be back soon.
